We'll need some things from the Shadow Jail and the keywords associated with them in order to awaken her.

Go to the first floor of the Shadow Jail. While you're there, hunt lots of bats and wolves. Retrive 30 Shadow Beast's Souls.

Party play is recommended for Shadow Jail because it's a high-level dungeon.
If you flee, you'll find yourself back at the entrance to the dungeon.
